If you encounter issues with a customer’s Trackman 4, such as a red light error or a failed firmware update, follow the steps below to attempt a resolution:

1. Plug out all connections to Trackman and close rear leg of unit
2. Wait until all lights on the entire unit are off except for the battery indicator which should be on
3. Then press and hold the Power Button on the unit for 20 seconds
4. Then release the button and the Trackman should flash with a green light
5. After about 30 seconds the unit should flash Green and Red
6. After this connect to the TM4 Recovery Wi-Fi with the Password "password"

To upgrade the firmware manually:

1. Open a web browser and enter the radar’s IP address to access the Web Interface.
2. Navigate to Administration > Upgrade.
3. Download the latest firmware binary file, then upload it on this page.
4. Click Upgrade. The radar will update the firmware, reboot automatically, and should then be ready for use.
