If you encounter issues with a customer’s Trackman 4, such as a red light error or a failed firmware update, follow the steps below to attempt a resolution:
- Plug out all connections to Trackman and close rear leg of unit
- Wait until all lights on the entire unit are off except for the battery indicator which should be on
- Then press and hold the Power Button on the unit for 20 seconds
- Then release the button and the Trackman should flash with a green light
- After about 30 seconds the unit should flash Green and Red
- After this connect to the TM4 Recovery Wi-Fi with the Password "password"
To upgrade the firmware manually:
- Open a web browser and enter the radar’s IP address to access the Web Interface.
- Navigate to Administration > Upgrade.
- Download the latest firmware binary file, then upload it on this page.
- Click Upgrade. The radar will update the firmware, reboot automatically, and should then be ready for use.
