Did you know you can play virtual golf as a team in Trackman Performance Studio? Team Tournaments can be set up as a single round or an Order of Merit and played in formats like Scramble, Better Ball, Foursome, or Greensome, with scoring options including stroke, stroke net, or stableford.

In Better Ball, each player plays their own ball using their individual handicap. For team formats, handicap calculation differs slightly: each player’s course handicap should be calculated and rounded to one decimal place.

Handicap Calculation Formula

Course Handicap = Hcp × (Slope ÷ 113) + (Course Rating – Par)
Round to 1 decimal place.

Scramble

If all players’ course handicaps are ≥ 0:

• 2 players: 35% of low + 15% of high
• 3 players: 20% of low + 10% middle + 15% high
• 4 players: 20% lowest + 15% + 10% + 5% highest

If all players’ course handicaps are < 0:

• 2 players: 105% low + 110% high
• 4 players: 105% lowest + 110% + 115% + 135% highest

If a mix of above/below 0:

• 2 players: 105% of low (<0) + 15% of high (≥0)
• 4 players: e.g. 2 below & 2 above → 105% lowest + 110% 2nd lowest + 10% 2nd highest + 5% highest

Alternate Shot / Foursome

• Player A course hcp + Player B course hcp) / 2 

Greensome

• 60% of low course hcp + 40% of high course hcp
