When you select "Amateur" as your status, you confirm that you are participating in the event as an amateur player and will not accept any winnings, either from stroke play or side games, exceeding $1,000. This choice indicates your intention to retain your amateur status.

On the other hand, if you choose "Professional," you acknowledge that participation in a NEXT Tour tournament event will result in the forfeiture of any amateur status you may have held, even if you do not complete the competition or qualify for prize money.
