The ideal setup for manual putting would be as follows:

1. A minimum of 3m/10ft from tee to screen, i.e. distance for Trackman to track the putt optimally
2. An even surface from tee to screen, such that the tracking isn't affected by any bumps
3. A green-like surface, to better replicate the stimp in virtual golf - if the stimp on the mat is too different to the green stimp in virtual golf, it will become harder to judge the pace at which you should hit the putt
