TMiO | Refrain From Using Plexiglass on Trackman

While Plexiglass may seem like added protection, we do not recommend using plexiglass with your Trackman unit. Extensive testing by our engineers has shown several issues:

  • Infrared and radar interference
    • Plexiglass dampens both the infrared light (vision) and RF signals (radar), reducing accuracy and performance.
  • Dust buildup
    • Dust accumulating on the Plexiglass further disrupts the vision system.

For these reasons, we strongly advise against covering/installing plexiglass with TMiO or TM4 to ensure proper functionality and reliability.
