How to Move a Booking
When you open a booking from either the Range or Course view, the Booking Editor will appear.
While the layout varies slightly between bay and course bookings, the functionality is largely the same.
The Booking Editor is a key operational tool. Below is an overview of its main sections and actions:
-
Customer:
- Displays the assigned customer for the booking.
- This cannot be changed after a purchase has been made.
- You’ll also see any current balance or active memberships associated with that customer.
-
Associated Purchase:
- Shows the purchase details related to the booking.
- Tap the left-hand side of the widget to open the purchase.
- Tap the payment status to open the corresponding charge.
-
Moving a booking:
- The options available depend on the type of booking (course or bay).
- For a bay booking, you can modify: Date, Start time and Bay.
- Once you’ve made your changes, a "Save" button will appear to confirm and update the booking.
-
Booking Actions:
- This section contains common operational actions:
- Check in – Marks the booking as attended. This helps with reporting and general visibility. (Some integrations handle this automatically.)
- Cancel booking – note, this action cannot be undone.
- The booking will be removed from the schedule but still remains liable for payment.
- To issue a refund, you’ll need to adjust the Purchase instead.
- Retry Booking Integrations: If your booking is connected to external integrations (e.g., third-party systems) and they haven’t executed correctly, select Retry Booking Integrations to reattempt them.
