Creating Membership Types

  1. Access the Memberships Section
    • Go to your Admin Panel.
    • Navigate to Customers > Memberships.
    • Click Add Membership Type to begin creating a new membership.
  2. Configure the General Tab
    • This is where you define the basic identity and visibility of the membership.


       
    • Name: Give your membership a clear, recognizable name.
    • Description: Briefly explain what the membership offers.
    • Color: Choose a color to visually distinguish this membership in the admin panel and customer view.
    • Venue Settings:
      • Show at all venues or limit to a specific venue.
    • Duration Type:
      • No end date: The membership renews automatically.
      • Fixed term: Set a specific duration (in days, weeks, months, or years).
    • Flags: Add logic such as tax flags (e.g., additive or inclusive tax).
  3. Configure the Billing Tab
    • Membership Fee Type:
      • Free: No charge for membership.
      • Paid: Enables billing options.
    • Billing Period: Choose how often the customer is billed (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
    • Price Per Period: Set the cost per billing cycle (e.g., 500 = $5.00).
    • Grace Period: Time allowed before perks are lost due to non-payment.
    • Joining Fee: Optional one-time fee when joining.
    • Billing Start Date:
      • Immediate: Starts upon assignment.
      • Fixed Date: Starts on a specific day (e.g., the 4th of each month).
      • Enable Forward Start: Allows customers to choose a future start date during self-sign-up.
  4. Configure the Sign-Up Tab: This tab appears only if the membership is 'Paid'.
    • Signup Type:
      • Venue signup only: Admins assign memberships manually.
      • Self signup: Customers can purchase the membership online.
    • Membership Tile Preview: Customize how the membership appears on the booking page.
    • Member Benefits: List the perks or features included.
  5. Save and Review
    • Once all tabs are configured: Click 'Save' to create the membership.
    • You can now assign it to customers or make it available for self-sign-up.
