Accessing the General Settings

Open the TPS Settings:
- Start by selecting the three lines (menu icon) at the bottom right of the TPS home screen.
- From the menu that appears, select Settings.

Enter Advanced Settings:
- At the top right of the settings screen, click on Advanced.

Navigate to General Settings:
- On the left-hand side, select General to access the relevant settings.
Adjusting General Settings
In the General section, you can configure the following key areas:
1. Language and Units
- Choose your preferred language for the interface.
- Set the measurement units (e.g., metric or imperial) that you want to use for data display.
2. Data
- Customize how data is managed within the TPS software.
3. Normalization
- Adjust how data is normalized across different sessions and conditions. This setting ensures consistency in data interpretation.
- Important: The normalization setting, located at the bottom left, is one of the most commonly adjusted settings in this section.
4. Setup
- Modify the general setup of your Trackman system, including calibration and other foundational settings.
5. Video
- Configure video settings related to recording and playback within TPS. This may include resolution, frame rate, and other video-specific options.
- TM4 Users: Pay special attention to the OERT setting, which zooms-in the video to capture impact data more precisely.
6. Application Layout
- Allows you to reset the layout settings.
Automatic Saving
One of the convenient features of the TPS settings is that all changes you make are saved automatically. There’s no need to manually save your settings after making adjustments.
