The aspect ratio setting controls how content is displayed on your monitor. Adjusting it can help prevent stretched, compressed, or cropped images.
- Open NVIDIA Control Panel
- Right-click on your desktop
- Click Show more options (if applicable)
- Select NVIDIA Control Panel
- Change the Aspect Ratio
- Navigate to Desktop Size and Position
- In the left pane, expand Display
- Click Adjust desktop size and position
- Select Scaling Mode
- Aspect ratio – Maintains the original proportions
- Full-screen – Stretches the image to fill the screen
- No scaling – Displays the image at its original resolution
- Apply the Changes
- Click Apply
- Verify that the image displays correctly
