- Touch Keyboard is disabled
- On Windows, go to Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar and ensure Touch Keyboard is enabled.

- Tablet mode or touch settings issue
- Disconnect and reconnect any physical keyboard.
- Restart the device and test again.
- Touch keyboard service is not running
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service.
- Make sure its status is Running and the startup type is Automatic.
- Windows does not detect the device as a touchscreen
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Human Interface Devices.
- Verify that HID-compliant touch screen is present and enabled.
- Application-specific issue
- If the keypad is missing only in a specific application (for example, TPS, kiosk software, or a browser), click directly in the text field and test in another app such as Notepad to determine whether the issue is system-wide or application-specific.
