This article outlines the new features released with TPS 10.4.

Matchplay Tournaments

• Create a match play tournament
  • Individual Stroke and Stroke Net
  • Select up to 128 players per tournament
  • Rounds are automatically created based on the amount of selected players 
  • VG3+ courses only 
  • Set seeding as 'Randomized' or 'By handicap' 
  • Play 'Head to head' –Compete in real time! Both players must be in the same bay at the same time 
  • Set a sign-up period for players to join the tournament before round 1 starts.

• Manage a match play tournament
  • Manage each match before the first round starts
  • Make match actions during a round or when a round has ended
• New in match play tournaments vs normal match play round
  •  If a match is tied after the last hole, there will automatically be a playoff.

3D Motion Analysis (3DMA) V2

TMiO Duo calibration is now available, unlocking the 3D & Graph views, including 26 3D Motion Analysis data points and overlays, and the traditional video overlays (Attack Angle, Dynamic Loft, Face Angle, Club Path, Ball Tracer).

• TMiO Duo Calibration
  • Navigate to Settings > Application > Bay width

• Here you will see four options, where the Narrow-Both will trigger two "Calibrate" buttons in TPS, allowing you to calibrate a TMiO Duo unit.

 Narrow bay calibration (TM4 and TMiO) is also available. 

• Narrow bay calibration
  •  Navigate to Settings > Application > Bay width
  • The "Standard", "Narrow-Left" and "Narrow-Right" allow narrow-bay installs to calibrate successfully, even when the face-on camera can't see the two closest squares — no wider bay or hardware changes required. 
  • We recommend switching to Narrow only when standard calibration isn't possible, since Standard remains the default for most bays.

3DMA Graph View: Rotation and Translation

A tab bar above the graph switches between Kinematic Sequence, Rotations and Translations. On the Rotations and Translations tabs, a parameter row under the graph turns individual curves on and off, grouped by body part: Head, Upper Torso, Pelvis +Posture.

This means that you can see the linear and rotational body movement for the entire swing.

3DMA Graph View: Peak Speeds & Speed Gains

A Peak Speeds panel in the corner of the Kinematic Sequence graph lists Pelvis, Upper Torso, Lead Arm and 
Club Head with each segment’s peak speed. A Speed Gains column alongside shows the gain or loss 
between consecutive segments. Collapse it with the chevron when the full graph is needed.

Coach Improvements in Public Mode

• Swing video comparison across sessions in the same bay
  • When a coach is signed in, Public Mode now behaves like Individual (prev. Private) Mode. From the “Compare with – All Players” list the coach can reach every historical shot recorded in the same bay while signed in — across players and across days — and compare swing videos directly 
    from the shot list. 
  • Being signed in also unlocks the Shot History / Shot Library and Custom Clubs, on top of video comparison.
• Player email is now optional
  • Coaches can now create a player in Public Mode without an email. Previously players without an email has to be signed in as Guests, now the Coach can use the "Create Player" and continue without their email.
  •  The coach can now follow that player’s data over time on the same computer. Guest Player data is deleted after a session.
  • An email is still required for the player’s data to sync to the Trackman Golf 
    app or Portal.
  • Creating or searching for players now requires a Coach / Fitter / Admin login, keeping the library clean and avoiding duplicate guest profiles.
