Considering Trackman ARC?
Before purchasing and planning your installation of the Trackman ARC system, it is important to perform a network compatibility check. A network compatibility check can be done with a TM4 and ethernet cord.
- Take your TM4 and ethernet cord to the server, and connect the TM4 with the ethernet to your server
- Then, on a PC connected to the same server network, go File Explorer
- In File Explore, navigate to ‘Network’ - there you should see the TM4’s serial number or name
- If the TM4 appears in the network list, then the Trackman ARC will also work
If your network passes the pre-check, then you are all set to prepare for purchase and installation. Key items to know about installation behavior:
- Trackman ARC configuration can take up to approximately three hours to complete.
- TPS remains fully operational during the installation and configuration of the ARC system.
- If the ARC is powered off, the TPS software will return to normal behavior. (still functioning as if ARC was not installed)
