Note, this is a deliberate design choice built into the system to guarantee high data quality: If you want data on the club, the system needs to be able to see the club.
When club data fails to display, it is almost always due to issues with the physical setup or camera settings.
Common Causes
- The Club is Out of Frame
- If the cameras are positioned incorrectly, the club head can move outside the camera field of view during the swing, preventing the system from tracking it.
- Incorrect Camera Exposure (Blurry or Invisible Club Head)
- If exposure settings are not optimized for your lighting, the rapid movement of the club head will cause motion blur or make it blend into the background, rendering it invisible to the system.
Troubleshooting Checklist
Before submitting support logs or videos, please verify and correct the following items in your environment:
- Verify Camera Framing: Ensure the camera angle covers the entire swing arc, so the club head always remains in the frame.
- Adjust Camera Exposure: Tune exposure settings so the club head appears sharp and clear without motion blur.
- Optimize Lighting: Provide sufficient, consistent lighting across the entire hit area.
Once these physical setup requirements are met, Trackman 3DMA will automatically resume tracking and display your club graphs and data.
