NEXT Golf | Spin Axis & Forced Mulligans

  • Updated

New to Season 3 of the NEXT Golf Tour is Forced Mulligans.

If a player using a Trackman 4 produces shots with a spin axis reading of zero, they may be required to take a mulligan. This rule applies when the system detects that the player has hit three shots with a ball speed exceeding 134 mph (215 kph) and a spin axis reading of zero. From that point forward, the player must re-hit any such shots (a “forced mulligan”) for the rest of the round, without incurring any penalties.

If you experience this during your round a message similar to below will appear on your screen.
