With the new User Interface (UI), you can now enable slot-based pricing. In this guide, we’ll walk through the different settings available and how they will appear on the customer-facing side.
Activation summary:
- Adjust the 'Booking Duration' setting in each Bay Option to 'Slot Based'.
- Add your opening hours using the 'New' format toggle.
- Navigate to Admin panel > Settings > Ranges / Sims tab and change the 'Customer Booking Experience' setting to 'Calendar View'.
To enable slot-based pricing, navigate to Settings > Range/Sims, where you’ll find a dropdown menu to select the "Customer Booking Experience". You can choose between:
- Classic
- Calendar View
Switching to Calendar view Pricing
If you select slot-based pricing, two additional options will become available. It’s important to note that when switching from Standard to Slot-based pricing, previous bay options will no longer display on the new UI. Only bay options specifically configured for slot-based pricing will appear.
Slot Interval
This setting allows you to define the duration of each slot. For example:
- 30 minutes: Slots will display in 30-minute increments.
- 1 hour: Slots will display in hourly increments.
If you set intervals like 1.5 hours or 2 hours, the system will adjust accordingly, as you can imagine.
When intervals longer than 30 minutes are selected, an additional dropdown appears to control the first slot’s start time:
- On the Hour: Slots begin at the top of the hour.
- On the Half Hour: Slots begin at 30 minutes past the hour.
These settings provide flexibility in customizing your booking system to match your venue's operational needs.
Add your Opening Hours
This can be found on the existing tab that you're looking at:
Set your Bay Options to Slot Based Mode
Navigate to Bay Options tab > click on a Bay Option to open the editor >
Click Save and you will see the Bay Options on the customer booking page.
