When changing the UI from Classic to Calendar view, you’ll be presented with a new Opening Hours platform.
Just like the previous opening hours setup, this platform allows you to define your venue’s availability. However, it comes with enhancements that we’ll explore.
At first glance, you’ll see an empty list displaying the days of the week. Using the plus (+) icon, you can set your venue's hours for each day. If necessary, you can add multiple time slots for the same day to accommodate different operating periods.
The next feature is designed to help you manage special events or occasions happening at your venue. For example, if you’re hosting an event, you can use the "Date Overrides" tab located next to the weekdays.
By clicking on "Date Overrides," you can specify dates where your usual opening hours will be temporarily changed. This is particularly useful for holidays, private events, or other special circumstances.
To set this up, simply:
- Select the Date Range — Choose the specific dates you’d like to override, similar to how you would select a holiday period.
- Set the Override Times — Define the operating hours for this period, which will take precedence over your normal schedule.
This feature ensures flexibility and precise control over your venue’s availability during unique events or timeframes.
