The new UI provides us with many exciting options to customize settings, and now we’ll explore one feature that many of us have likely considered—configuring time-based pricing and even setting seasonal prices.

To configure time-based or seasonal pricing, we’ll need to work within the Bay Options under the Pricing Tab. Let’s take a quick look at how this works:

Overview

1. Slot Price
   If you want the same price applied throughout the entire day, you can set a Slot Price. This will automatically be applied to all slots unless you create specific Pricing Schedules to override it.

2. Pricing Schedules

   • Customize Prices by Time or Day: In this section, you can create different pricing structures. For instance, you can set specific prices for particular times of the day or days of the week.
   • Restrict Times: You can also restrict certain times from being booked if needed.
   • Seasonal Pricing: If you want a completely different pricing structure for a specific date range, simply click Add Pricing Schedule. Once configured, these schedules will appear beneath the main settings.
   • Make sure there is a current or default price schedule set up or it will crash the page

Editing a Pricing Schedule

Clicking the pencil icon next to a schedule opens a new window where you can adjust pricing for 30-minute intervals. Keep in mind: If you want to define hourly pricing, you’ll need to calculate and halve the amount to reflect the 30-minute slots.

If we take a closer look at the pricing window in the image above, let’s go through it step by step from top to bottom to better understand its features:

1. Date From - Date To

This section allows you to set seasonal pricing. For example, entering 1st May to 1st Oct means that the pricing structure you configure here will only be active for this bay option during that specific time frame.

2. Price

This field determines the cost of the selected slots:

• Set Price: Use this button to apply the desired price to the selected slots.
• Clear Price: This button removes the existing price for the selected slots, allowing you to set a new one.

3. Set Unavailable

Selecting this option will mark the current slots as unavailable, preventing customers from booking during these times.

4. Clear Selection

This button clears the currently selected slots, making it easy to reset and select a new set of slots without manually deselecting each one.

5. Quick Selection Tips

• Clicking on a specific day or time will highlight the entire row or column, making it faster and easier to select multiple time slots at once.
