Functions are features that control how certain elements behave, like applying discounts, sending emails, or restricting access. They don’t work on their own, but they need to be linked to "Flags" and applied to "Options".

Types of Functions

• Restriction
  • Limits access to specific bays, courses, top-ups, or other options.
• Tax
  • Controls tax application. Set up under "Settings" > "Payment"
• Notification Email
  • Triggers an email when a specific flag is used.
• Discount
  • Applies a discount to selected options when the correct flag is present.
• Booking Extra
  • Adds optional items (like rental clubs) to a booking.

Always use clear flag names and double-check that both the function and the option share the same flag.

Options

These are the booking elements you can apply Functions to:

• Player Options
  • Less common, but certain restrictions can be added.
• Top-up/Gift Cards
  • Visibility can be restricted based on Perks.
• Bay Options
  • Most commonly used for applying multiple Functions.
• Course Options
  • Second most common place where Functions are applied.

Applying Functions via Flags

To apply a Function to an Option:

• Create or select a Flag for the Function.
• Go to the Option where you want the Function applied.
• Add the exact same Flag to that Option.

If the Flag is missing from either the Function or the Option, they won’t be connected, and the setup will not work.
