What Is A Trackman License?
- Software License: Grants access to Trackman’s tracking, simulation, and analysis features.
- Hardware License: Tied to the physical Trackman radar unit. It verifies that the device is authorized for use.
Both licenses are linked to the original owner and are not transferable without approval.
If you're selling or buying a Trackman unit, you need to transfer both the software & hardware licenses. This process is not automatic, and requires a license tranfer fee which differs based on the region. To do it, please see the steps below.
Steps To Transfer A Trackman License

Contact Your Trackman Sales Representative
- Reach out to a Trackman sales representative. If you don’t have a contact you can call Trackman Support and be provided with information.

Provide Unit Details
- Share the serial number of the Trackman device and the names of both the current and new owners.

Pay the Transfer Fee
- Trackman will inform you of the fee. This must be paid before the transfer is processed.

Wait for Confirmation
- Once approved, Trackman will update the license to the new owner’s account.
