TPS | How To Backup Your TPS Data

  • Updated

In Trackman Performance Studio (TPS), the "Backup" button is a feature designed to help users safely export and store their data, such as:

  • Shot history
  • Player profiles
  • Session data
  • Custom settings

This is especially useful when:

  • You're migrating to a new computer.
  • You want to store a copy of the database or transaction logs to prevent data loss.
  • You need to restore previous data after a crash or accidental deletion

How To Backup Data

To restore data, follow these instructions:

  1. Plug in the external drive or access the backup location.
    • Make sure that the backup location has enough storage.
  2. Go to Trackman Performance Studio
    • Make sure that your TPS is set to private mode.
  3. Access "Advanced Settings" and click "General".
  4. Locate the "Backup" button and save the data on your preferred drive.
