If the error message “Your system is having trouble keeping up with Trackman iO” appears, it means the PC is underperforming. This is usually due to graphics settings, power management, or network configuration.
This guide outlines how to resolve the issue internally.
Solving the Error
- Graphics Configuration (Windows)
- Force High Performance GPU
- Go to "Windows Settings" > "System" > "Display" > "Graphics Settings".
Locate TPS in the list and set it to use the High Performance GPU (dedicated graphics card).
- Go to "Windows Settings" > "System" > "Display" > "Graphics Settings".
- Confirm Display Resolution
- Ensure the display resolution is set to 1920×1080. Lower or mismatched resolutions can affect rendering and radar sync
- Force High Performance GPU
- Power Settings (Ethernet-Specific)
- Disable Ethernet Power Saving
- Open "Device Manager" > "Network Adapters", right-click the Ethernet adapter, and go to "Properties" > "Power Management"
- Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
- Set Speed & Duplex, Jumbo Frame, and Energy Efficient Ethernet
- In the "Advanced" tab of the same adapter, set "Speed & Duplex" to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex.
- Then set “Jumbo Frame” to 9014 or 9K
- Then set Energy Efficient Ethernet to Disabled
- Finally set Power Saving Mode to Disabled
- Use a Certified Ethernet Cable
- Ensure the Ethernet cable supports 1000/1000 Mbps transfer speeds. Slower cables can cause radar-to-PC communication delays.
- Disable Ethernet Power Saving
- System Load
- Close Background Applications
- Use Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to close unnecessary apps and monitor CPU/GPU usage.
- TPS should be the only high-performance application running during sessions.
- Close Background Applications
- If the Issue Persists
- Confirm that Windows and GPU drivers are fully updated.
- Test the system with a lower graphics preset in TPS.
- If the warning continues, escalate to Tier 2 with Logs and troubleshooting steps taken.
