When using Shot Analysis in Trackman Performance Studio (TPS), the Data Compliance Mode setting (Public or Private) determines how and where shot data is stored.

In Public Mode

Use Case: For guest sessions, events, or when players scan a QR code to log in.

How Data Is Handled:

• Data is not saved locally on the PC.
• Shot data is only uploaded to the Trackman Cloud if:
  • The player is logged in with a Trackman account, or
  • The player scans the QR code before the session.
• This mode ensures compliance with privacy standards by not storing data locally unless explicitly linked to a user.

In Private Mode

Use Case: For internal use, coaching sessions, or when data needs to be reviewed later.

How Data Is Handled:

• Shot data is saved locally on the PC.
• Sessions can be accessed later via "Shot History" in TPS.
• Data is not automatically uploaded to the cloud unless the user is logged in.
• This mode is ideal for coaches or facilities that want to retain session data for analysis or follow-up.
