TMiO | iOS Camera Issues with Trackman iO

  • Updated

If your iOS device’s camera isn’t working as expected with the Trackman iO system, the issue may be related to your network settings. While the app and hardware are designed to work seamlessly together, incorrect network configurations can prevent the camera from connecting or functioning properly.

Instructions on How to Fix the Issue

Firstly, you need to check your network configuration.

  1. Check Advanced Network Sharing Settings
    • If you're using a Windows PC as part of your setup, make sure sharing settings are correctly configured:
    • Go to "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "Advanced Network Settings" > "Advanced Sharing Settings"
    • Under "Private, Public, and All Networks", ensure all relevant boxes are checked on (such as network discovery and file/printer sharing)
  2. Enable Local Network Access for the Trackman App
    • On your iOS device, make sure the Trackman app has permission to access your local network:
    • Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
    • Scroll down and locate the Trackman Camera App
    • Ensure the Local Network toggle is turned on
    • This setting allows the app to communicate with other devices on your network, which is essential for camera functionality.
  3. Make Sure You Have The Right Setup

If you have completed the setup correctly and you are still experiencing issues with the iOS camera(s), please reach out to Trackman Support by submitting a support ticket here.
