Data on TMiO
- Ball Flight Data
Trackman iO captures detailed ball flight metrics immediately after impact, including:
- Ball Speed: Measures how fast the ball is traveling after it leaves the clubface.
- Launch Angle: The vertical angle at which the ball takes off.
- Launch Direction: The horizontal angle relative to the target line.
- Spin Rate: The rate at which the ball spins, affecting trajectory and stopping power.
- Spin Axis: Indicates the tilt of the ball’s spin, which determines curve (draw or fade).
- Carry Distance: The distance the ball travels in the air before landing.
- Total Distance: Includes carry and roll, giving a complete picture of shot length.
- Height: The apex of the ball’s flight.
- Landing Angle: The angle at which the ball descends to the ground.
- Curve: The lateral movement of the ball during flight
- Club Data
Trackman iO also provides in-depth insights into how the club is moving through impact:
- Club Speed: The speed of the clubhead at the moment of impact.
- Attack Angle: Whether the club is moving up or down at impact (Currently only available for driver, woods and hybrids).
- Club Path: The direction the clubhead is moving relative to the target line.
- Face Angle: The direction the clubface is pointing at impact.
- Face to Path: The difference between the face angle and club path, crucial for shot shaping.
- Dynamic Loft: The actual loft presented at impact, influenced by swing mechanics.
- Impact Location: Where on the clubface the ball was struck (heel, toe, center)
- Putting Data (Optional). With the right setup, Trackman iO can also analyze putting strokes, offering data such as:
- Launch Direction: The horizontal angle relative to the target line.
- Ball Speed: Measures how fast the ball is traveling after it leaves the clubface.
- Face Angle: The direction the clubface is pointing at impact.
