Facility Selection is a new setting in the Pro Golf app that lets users link their activity, specifically Golf Event uploads to a specific Trackman facility. This ensures all uploaded content is accurately associated with the correct location in the Trackman Portal.
Overview of Facility Selection
To locate the facility selection, please follow the steps below.
- The user navigates to the Home screen menu and taps on "Account"
- In the Facility section, the user can choose from a list of all facilities linked to their account.
- The assigned facility is now also displayed in the user account, beneath the user's name.
- When offline, the facility selection list is visible but disabled, showing a message that internet is needed to change the facility. The previously selected facility is still remembered and displayed.
- Facility selection is also available on iPhone, with the exact same steps as above.
Facility Selection in the Golf Events
With facility selection, events are automatically tied to the facility selected in the account settings. This makes it easy to find the event in the Portal, export reports, and ensure that all data is grouped under the correct organization.
- Once a facility is selected in "Account Settings", all new events will automatically be linked to that facility.

When creating a new event, users will see a note in the event modal confirming where the event will be uploaded.

If no facility has been selected in "Account Settings", a note in the event creation modal will inform the user. The event will be uploaded without a facility assigned and must be linked manually later in the Golf Portal.

Users can access "Account Settings" at any time within the Pro Golf application to assign a facility. To ensure the event is correctly linked, the facility must be selected before the event is finished. Either before it starts or while it’s running.
