Managing coach availability is key to delivering quality lessons and avoiding double bookings. The Max Concurrency restriction helps by limiting how many bookings can happen at the same time for a given bay option (e.g. a coaching lesson).

Use this restriction if coaching is offered across multiple bays. If lessons are already limited to a single bay through bay group settings, the restriction isn't needed — the bay group handles it.

Setting Up Max Concurrency for Coach Lessons

1. Create the Venue Restriction and Linked Flag
   • Go to the Venue Restrictions tab.
   • Click "Create New Restriction".
   • Choose the rule type: "Max Concurrency".
   • Set the maximum number of concurrent bookings (e.g., 1 for private lessons).
   • Create and link a flag to this restriction.
   • Click "Save Changes"
2. Apply the Restriction to the Coach’s Bay Option
   • Navigate to the Bay Options section.
   • Find and select the coach lesson option you want to restrict.
   • Apply the flag linked to the Max Concurrency restriction.
   • Click "Save Changes"
3. Link the Bay Option to a Bay Group
   • Ensure the bay option is assigned to a Bay Group.
   • If not, it will not appear in the booking system, even if the restriction is correctly set.
