General | How to Re-Send a Screencast from Your Local PC

If a coach needs to re-send a Screencast to a player or colleague, the video is often saved locally on their PC—if the correct setting is enabled. This guide walks you through how to locate and share the file.

Sending a Screencast from A PC

  1. Log in with Coach Access
    • Open Trackman Performance Studio (TPS).
    • Make sure you’re logged in with a Coach account.
  2. Open Advanced Settings
    • Click on "Settings" (gear symbol).
    • Navigate to "Advanced Settings"
  3. Check Screencast Storage Path
    • Go to the "Share" tab.
    • Look for the setting: “Keep local copy of screencasts in:”
      • If this is enabled, you’ll see the file path where Screencasts are saved.
      • Note: If the setting is disabled, the Screencast may not have been saved locally.
  4. Locate the Screencast File
    • Open "File Explorer"
    • Paste the file path from the Share tab into the address bar.
    • Look for the relevant Screencast video file (usually in .mp4 format).
  5. Re-Send the Screencast
    • Right-click the video file and select "Send to" > "Mail recipient", or attach it manually in your email client.
    • Alternatively, upload it to a cloud service (e.g., OneDrive, Google Drive) and share the link.
