If a coach needs to re-send a Screencast to a player or colleague, the video is often saved locally on their PC—if the correct setting is enabled. This guide walks you through how to locate and share the file.
Sending a Screencast from A PC
- Log in with Coach Access
- Open Trackman Performance Studio (TPS).
- Make sure you’re logged in with a Coach account.
- Open Advanced Settings
- Click on "Settings" (gear symbol).
- Navigate to "Advanced Settings"
- Check Screencast Storage Path
- Go to the "Share" tab.
- Look for the setting: “Keep local copy of screencasts in:”
- If this is enabled, you’ll see the file path where Screencasts are saved.
- Note: If the setting is disabled, the Screencast may not have been saved locally.
- Locate the Screencast File
- Open "File Explorer"
- Paste the file path from the Share tab into the address bar.
- Look for the relevant Screencast video file (usually in .mp4 format).
- Re-Send the Screencast
- Right-click the video file and select "Send to" > "Mail recipient", or attach it manually in your email client.
- Alternatively, upload it to a cloud service (e.g., OneDrive, Google Drive) and share the link.
