General | Understanding Table Statuses in the Admin Panel

In the YGB Admin Panel, tables can have different statuses based on their current usage. Knowing what each status means helps staff manage purchases and table flow efficiently.

Table Status Types

Tables can have one of four statuses:

  • Empty – The table is available and ready for a new purchase to be assigned.
  • Seated – A purchase has been assigned to the table, but no products have been added yet.
  • Ordered – Products or line items have been added to the purchase.
  • Bussing – The purchase has been paid for, but the table hasn’t been cleared yet.

  • To return a table to "Empty", go to "POS" > "Tables", select the table, and click "Empty Table"

How to Open and Manage a Table

  1. Assign a Table
    • In the POS view, click "No Table Assigned".
    • Select the desired table from the list.
    • Click "Seat Table" to move the status from Empty to Seated.
  2. Add Products to the Purchase
    • Click "Tables" to open the purchase assigned to that table.
    • Use the product tiles to add items.
    • Double-click "Save for later" to temporarily close the purchase. This changes the status to Ordered.
  3. Charge the Customer
    • Double-click the "Unpaid | Charge" button (e.g., “Charge £5.20”).
    • Click OK to confirm. The table status will now be Bussing.
  4. Clear the Table
    • Once the customer has left and the table is ready for the next group, click "Clear Table".
    • This resets the status from Bussing to Empty.
