Courses | Troubleshoot TPS Freezing

If Trackman Performance Studio (TPS) is freezing, crashing, or lagging, try the steps below in order.

Fix TPS Freezing

  1. Confirm you’re running the latest version of TPS.
  2. Ensure your Trackman unit’s firmware is up to date via TPS > "Settings" > "Advanced" > "About".
  3. Set your NVIDIA GPU as the preferred graphics processor in NVIDIA Control Panel.
  4. Clear the TPS cache, temp, and video folders in:
    • C:\ProgramData\TrackMan\Trackman Performance Studio\Cache
    • C:\ProgramData\TrackMan\Trackman Performance Studio\Temp
    • C:\ProgramData\TrackMan\VideoManagement

These steps should fix the issue. As a general tip, make sure your GPU Drivers are always up to date.
