Understanding the Error
The error message mentions a file called VCRUNTIME140.dll, which is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. C++ is a programming language used to build many parts of software like TPS.
If this component is broken, TPS cannot run properly. Follow the steps below to completely remove and reinstall TPS and its C++ components.
Fixing the Error
- Close the Error Message
- Click "OK" on the error message window to close it.
- Uninstall TPS Software
- Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
- Go back to "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features". Look for all items named Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
- Click each one and choose "Uninstall".
- You can uninstall the .NET components as well
- Restart Your Computer
