General | Windows Defender Exception for TPS Installation

If you experience issues with TPS not opening, getting stuck on loading, or running slowly in the main menu - even after uninstalling a Windows antivirus or performing a fresh TPS installation - Windows Defender may be interfering with TPS.

To resolve this, you need to add two separate exclusions for TPS in Windows Defender so it doesn’t block or slow down the software.

Creating a Windows Defender exception for TPS

  1. Go to the start menu and type "Virus & threat protection"

  3. Scroll down in the new page and find "Exclusions", then click on "Add or Remove exclusions".
