Settings | How To Update TPS (When No Update Prompt Appears)

If you are not being prompted to update your TPS system after a new release is made available, it is likely because your TPS is currently set to "Public Mode". Updates can only be applied when TPS is in "Private Mode".

How to Update TPS

  1. Log in to TPS with Admin Access
    • If you are not aware of the admin credentials, then these can be found in the Trackman Portal by navigating to "Facility Overview" and then "Access Management"
  2. Change TPS to "Private Mode"
    • Once logged in with admin access:
      • Go to "Settings"
      • Switch TPS from "Public Mode" to "Private Mode"
      • TPS will automatically restart after this change
  3. Check for Updates
    • After the restart, TPS should detect the available update to the newest version. To begin the update, simply click "Install Now" on the notification message.
      • If it doesn't show the update automatically, follow the steps below.
  4. Manual Update Option
    • If no notification appears, you can manually check for updates.
      • Go to "Advanced Settings" > "About"
      • Under Trackman Performance Studio, select "Install", and you will now download and install, and be on latest version.
  5. Back To Public Mode
    • Lastly, remember to put your TPS back to "Public Mode".
