Ethernet Connection (TM4 / TMiO Radar)

Port Type: Standard Ethernet (RJ45)
Use: Connect your TM4 or TMiO radar directly to the PC.
This is the dedicated radar Ethernet port and should not be used for internet or other devices.

USB Ports (General Use)

These ports can be used for peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, USB drives, or other accessories.

There are two sets of USB ports shown:

  • Upper USB ports – General accessories
  • Lower USB ports (blue ports) – High-speed USB 3.0 ports
    • Used for IDS Cameras (all IDS cameras must connect here)

USB-C Port (Internet Connection)

Use: Internet connection via Ethernet-to-USB-C adapter, when a standard Ethernet jack is not being used for internet.
This port is commonly used when:

  • The primary Ethernet port is dedicated to the radar
  • You must supply internet through a USB-C adapter

HDMI Port (Projector)

Use: Connect your projector.

This is the dedicated HDMI output and should only be used for the projector to ensure video stability.

DisplayPort (Touchscreen / Monitor)

Use: Connect your touchscreen or standard external monitor.

DisplayPort is the preferred connection for:

  • Trackman touchscreens
  • Facility displays requiring higher refresh rates or resolutions

USB 3.0 Ports (IDS Cameras)

Use: Connect all IDS impact cameras to these blue USB 3.0 ports.

This ensures:

  • Proper bandwidth
  • Stable video transfer
  • Correct performance inside TPS and the Portal
