If you experience an issue with screencast not working, or if you get the error message in TPS stating "Failed to get default audio format", there might be an issue with your microphone in Windows.
To fix this, please try disabling audio enhancements by following the steps below:
- Go to Control Panel, click on "Sound"
- Click on the Recording tab.
- Select the microphone.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Uncheck the box "Enable audio enhancements". (You may need to close TPS first or restart).
