Tournaments | Live Leaderboard Missing During Tournament Play

If the live leaderboard is not appearing in TPS during a tournament, there can be several reasons for this. The following explanation outlines the factors that can affect leaderboard visibility.

Players Are Allowed More Than One Attempt

When a tournament is configured to allow players multiple attempts, the TPS system cannot display a live leaderboard. This occurs because the system receives multiple scores per player and cannot determine which attempt should appear on the leaderboard. To prevent confusion or incorrect rankings, the leaderboard is automatically disabled in these cases.

When the Leaderboard Will Show

If the tournament is set to allow only one attempt per player, the TPS can accurately track and display each score. In this scenario:

  • Each player has one official round, eliminating ambiguity.
  • The leaderboard will appear in TPS.
  • Scores will update live after each hole, providing players and organizers with real-time visibility of the competition.
