What Is Aim Point Calibration?
Trackman iO now includes a calibration flow that aligns the onscreen aim point with the real ball position in the bay. This ensures correct launch direction tracking.
You can choose between two forms of aim point calibration:
- Dynamic aim
- Static aim
Dynamic Aim
The aim point automatically adjusts based on where the player places the ball.
Use this when:
- Players hit from slightly different ball positions
- The bay layout allows flexible hitting areas
- You want automatic aim correction without manual adjustments
Best for:
- General play, multiuser environments, variable ball placement.
Static Aim
The aim direction remains fixed, regardless of ball position. Use this when:
- You want a consistent, unchanging target line
- The ball is always placed in the same hitting position
- The bay has strict alignment or coaching layouts
Best for:
- Teaching setups, consistent ball placement, controlled environments.
