Screencast on Golf Pro (iPad)
A screencast is a powerful coaching tool that records your on-screen activity within the Shot Analysis environment, with optional voice commentary. It allows coaches and players to capture key moments, review performance, and communicate insights clearly and effectively.
While using the Golf Pro app, screencast records everything happening on your screen. This makes it easy to create a lesson summary with voice-over and share it with your student for later review.
Note: Screencast is available only with an active software subscription.

- Screencast controls appear.
- After tapping the button, the screencast controls will appear in the top bar, including a timer, start/stop button, and close option.

Receiving a Shared Screencast
When a screencast is shared, both the player and the coach have multiple ways to access and review it.
- Email Notification to the Player
- When a screencast is shared, the player receives an email from Trackman.
- From this email, the player can:
- Watch the video directly in the Trackman Golf App
- Open the report in a web browser
- Note: Opening the report in a browser simply follows a link from the email. The player is not introduced to the Portal unless the coach explains it.
- Activity report in Golf App
- The player can also access the screencast in the Golf App.
- After logging in with the same email address used to receive the screencast, the video will be available under Activities.
- This allows the player to easily revisit the lesson at any time.
- Screencast Activity Report on the Coach Portal and Player Portal
Screencasts are also available in the Portal for both coaches and players.
- Coach view: Coaches can review screencasts for each student on the Coach view of the Portal. This makes it easy to track player progress over time. The coach must log in with the same account used in the Golf Pro app.
- Player view: Players can log in to the Portal to review their own screencasts and monitor their progress.
