Definition of Average Row
The Average Row is the performance baseline, it represents how the player normally strokes by balancing out the data of every shot in a session. It is calculated by adding all the results of all hit shots and dividing that sum by the total number of shots.
This data row is activated by clicking the "AVG" button at the top of the interface. Once selected, a row will appear at the bottom of the data set. Only the specific shots selected on the left-hand side will be factored into the final average calculation.
The Use of Average Row
- Works as a performance indicator of the player, identifying the baseline of how a player normally hits their shots.
- It is the most reliable way to measure progress over time. Because the average balances out every shot in a session a shift in your average toward your target data proves that your overall performance is becoming more aligned with your goals.
