Golf Pro App | Collect TMD Files

If you are experiencing tracking issues or the shot data in the Golf Pro app does not seem correct, our support team may ask you to collect TMD files for further investigation. 

TMD files are files that store detailed information about your shots and how they were tracked by your Trackman. The files provide a clear view of what happened during a session and are especially useful when reviewing or troubleshooting shot data. 

How to Collect TMD Files

  1. Open the Golf Pro App
  2. Ensure your device is connected to the Trackman unit
  3. Select the menu icon in the top right corner


     
  4. Select Support
  5. Enable the Maintenance toggle in the bottom right corner


     
  6. Start a session 

As explained in the app, shots can be shared directly from the shot list menu by long press on selected shot.

It is important to note that TMD files and app logs serve different purposes:

  • TMD files contain shot and tracking data (ball, club, radar) and are used to analyze shot performance and tracking accuracy
  • App logs record the behavior of the app, such as connections, errors, and communication with the TrackMan unit
