The NVIDIA App can be configured to automatically manage GPU driver updates. This is essential for maintaining consistent and reliable performance.
During setup, it is important to:
- Enable automatic driver downloads and notifications
- Select NVIDIA Studio Drivers instead of Game Ready Drivers
Studio Drivers are tested for stability and reliability in professional and simulation environments such as Trackman, making them the recommended option.
Installation and Setup
- Go to the official NVIDIA App download page: Download the NVIDIA App
- Click the “Download Now” button.
- Open the installer file once the download is complete.
- When prompted, click Agree and Continue to accept the license agreement.
- When asked to choose a driver type, select Studio Drivers.
- After installation, open the NVIDIA App and go to Settings.
- Enable Automatic Driver Downloads and Notifications by toggling the setting to ON.
This setting will automatically download the drivers and then you will be able to install them easily from the “drivers” tab.
