If you need to confirm that your camera is properly connected to your computer, you can check this directly in Windows Device Manager. This article will tell you how to check the connection of both the USB Swing camera and IDS.

1. Open Device Manager
   • Right-click the Start button
   • Select Device Manager
   • Open Device Manager
2. Locate Your Camera
   • Depending on the camera model, it will appear in one of the following sections:
3. USB Swing Cameras:
   • Expand the Cameras section
   • Your camera will be listed here if detected correctly
4. IDS Cameras
   • Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers
   • IDS cameras will appear in this list (not under Cameras)
