This article explains how to configure multiple monitors in Windows for use with Trackman Performance Studio (TPS).
A multi-display setup allows you to:
- Show simulator gameplay or ball flight visuals on a primary display/projector
- Keep TPS controls, data tiles, and session management on a secondary screen
- Improve workflow efficiency during coaching sessions, fittings, or practice
Ensure your hardware is correctly connected:
- Connect each monitor using HDMI or DisplayPort
- Power on all displays
- Confirm Windows detects both monitors
If a monitor is not detected, try to go to Settings → System → Display → Detect.
Configure Displays in Windows
- Open Display Settings
- Right-click on your Windows desktop
Select Display settings
- Identify Connected Displays
- Click Identify
- A number (e.g., 1, 2) will appear on each screen
- This ensures your digital layout matches your physical setup.
- Select Display Mode
- Scroll to Multiple displays and choose your configuration:
- Extend these displays. This creates one large workspace across screens
- Duplicate these displays: Mirrors the same content on both displays.
- Extend mode allows each monitor to show different content, which is essential for multi-screen workflows.
- Use Extend mode to display simulator visuals separately from TPS controls.
- Scroll to Multiple displays and choose your configuration:
- Arrange Monitor Layout
- Drag the monitor boxes (1, 2, etc.)
- Align them to match their physical position
- Apply Configuration
- Click Apply
- Confirm changes if prompted
