IDS U3 | Low FPS in Shot Analysis

If you're experiencing low FPS for IDS U3 cameras in TPS, please follow these steps:

  1. Check the IDS Peak version
    • Ensure your PC is using IDS Peak version 2.7.1 (and not newer versions) for IDS U3 cameras.
  2. Verify camera connections
    • Confirm that all cameras are connected to USB 3.0 ports and that each camera shows a green LED on the rear before launching TPS.
  3. Open Shot Analysis
    • Launch TPS and enter Shot Analysis mode.
  4. Access camera settings
    • Click the camera icon, then navigate to the Settings tab (the three-slider icon).
  5. Remove existing profiles
    • Delete any existing camera profiles currently saved in the settings.
  6. Create a new profile
    • Create a new camera profile and configure:
      • FPS to your preferred value
      • Brightness to your desired setting
  7. Save the profile
    • Save the new profile once all settings have been configured.
  8. Test the cameras
    • Restart or test the cameras again to confirm they are functioning correctly with the new profile.
