If your TrackMan 4 is not levelling you will need to try a factory default of your TrackMan 4. You can do so through one of the following steps Factory Default Options.
Method 1: Web Interface via Wi-Fi
- Connect the device (iOS or PC) to the TM Wi-Fi
- Open any internet browser
- Go to http://172.30.20.1
- Click Login
- Go to Administration
- Reset to Factory Defaults
- Radar will restart (You may see disconnection errors on the web interface page, this is normal)
- Wait for the green light next to the camera to turn solid green
- Connect the device back to the TM Wi-Fi
- Now the TrackMan has been reset to factory defaults
Method 2: Web Interface via Ethernet
- Be sure radar is connected to PC via Ethernet
- Open File Explorer on the computer
- Click "Network" on the left-hand side of the File Explorer window
- If there is a yellow bar at the top that says Network Discovery is turned off, click on the bar, and turn on Network Discovery
- Once Network Discovery is turned on, you should see the radar followed by its serial number
- Right click the radar device
- Click "Properties"
- Here you should see a web link that you can click on, this will take you to the web interface.
- Click Login
- Go to Administration
- Reset to Factory Defaults
- Radar will restart (You may see disconnection errors on the web interface page, this is normal)
- Wait for the green light next to the camera to turn solid green
- Connect the device back to the TM Wi-Fi
- Now the TrackMan has been reset to factory defaults
Method 3: Web Interface via USB Troubleshooting Cable
- Connect the radar to any device with a USB port
- Open any internet browser
- Go to http://172.30.30.1
- Click Login
- Go to Administration
- Reset to Factory Defaults
- Radar will restart (You may see disconnection errors on the web interface page, this is normal)
- Wait for the green light next to the camera to turn solid green
- Connect the device back to the TM Wi-Fi
- Now the TrackMan has been reset to factory defaults
Method 4: Manually via Paper Clip
- Open the rubber flap on the bottom of the radar and you will see a tiny pinhole above the screw.
- Make sure the radar is powered on
- Take a paper clip and hold down for 10 seconds inside the pin hole (it is okay to push with a bit of force to be sure the paper clip is pressing the button)
- The radar lights will turn off
- Wait 30 seconds
- Close the back stand/leg
- Wait 30 seconds
- Power the radar back on by opening the back stand/leg
Final Method
- Power on the unit but do not connect it to TPS
- Hold the unit in the air vertically with the legs straight down (You should hear the legs extending)
- Once fully extended, you will then close the back stand and wait 10 seconds before starting the radar up again
- Start the radar up again
