TM4 | Legs Not Retracting Back Into Unit

  • Updated

This is common when the power button is pressed before the legs has been put back into the unit. Please note that when clicking the back leg (flap) down, this will power on/off the unit, and you don't need to push the power button.

The new Trackman 4 legs in action:

  • Open the rear flap, and make sure to give it a little extra push down (click)
  • To close the legs, push down on the rear flap (click) and fold the flap up

Can you please try the following

  1. Make sure the unit is shut down (only the battery indicator should be blinking and no green light next to the camera)
  2. Connect the unit to a power supply
  3. Do not press the power button, but open up the back leg and make sure to click it it down to get the small legs to go out
  4. Put the unit on the ground and let it boot until you get a steady green light next to the camera
  5. Lift the unit in the air and click the back leg down and the close the back leg to the closed position. Do not press the power button
  6. Now the legs should go all the way in
