Error Messages | Network Speed Slower Than 1000 Mb/s

Explanation of the Error

If you experience an error in TPS mentioning that the network speed between TPS and TMiO is slower than the required 1000 Mb/s, please follow the below steps. Please confirm you are using a CAT 6 cable for all connections.

Steps to Resolve the Error

  1. Make sure to have Speed & Duplex set to 1.0 Gbps Full duplex. For guidance on this, please refer to this article: Settings | PC Ethernet Settings 🎦 


     
  2. Check if the speed is 1.0 Gbps by double clicking on the “unidentified network” connection. 


     
    • If it is not in 1 Gbps, you can restart the network connection by disabling and enable it back. 
  3. Make sure Trackman iO units connected to the motherboard ethernet port to determine if this is an issue with a potential switch, adapter or cable.
    • If connected to a network switch, make sure that we have the proper transfer speed (1.0 Gbps). This one should be located near your computer: 


       
    • To further troubleshoot if this is a port, cable or switch issue, please test different ports on the switch.
