Settings | Low Disk Space on Second Hard Drive

If you get an error message stating that you have low disk space on your D: Drive, you can free up storage space by following these instructions.

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Click "This PC"
  3. Open D: drive
  4. Locate the file or folder you want to remove.
  5. Right-click the item and select "Delete".

To immediately free up storage space and delete the files permanently:

  1. Open the recycle bin
  2. Right-click it and select "Empty Recycle Bin"
