Settings | How to Enable the Wi‑Fi Icon on the Taskbar

The Wi‑Fi icon on the taskbar provides quick access to wireless network settings. If the icon is missing, please follow the steps below.

Enable the Wi‑Fi Icon from Taskbar Settings

  1. Open Windows Settings by pressing the Windows + I
  2. Access Taskbar Settings
  3. Click Personalization
  4. Select Taskbar
  5. Expand "Other system tray icons" (or Taskbar corner overflow)


     
  6. Locate Network or Wi‑Fi
  7. Toggle this setting ON to display the icon

Enable the Wi‑Fi Adapter if the Icon Is Missing

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open Network Connections
  2. Type ncpa.cpl and press Enter
  3. Locate the Wi‑Fi adapter
  4. If it is disabled, right‑click it
  5. Select Enable
  6. Check if the Wi‑Fi icon appears on the taskbar
