The Wi‑Fi icon on the taskbar provides quick access to wireless network settings. If the icon is missing, please follow the steps below.
Enable the Wi‑Fi Icon from Taskbar Settings
- Open Windows Settings by pressing the Windows + I
- Access Taskbar Settings
- Click Personalization
- Select Taskbar
- Expand "Other system tray icons" (or Taskbar corner overflow)
- Locate Network or Wi‑Fi
- Toggle this setting ON to display the icon
Enable the Wi‑Fi Adapter if the Icon Is Missing
- Press Windows Key + R to open Network Connections
- Type ncpa.cpl and press Enter
- Locate the Wi‑Fi adapter
- If it is disabled, right‑click it
- Select Enable
- Check if the Wi‑Fi icon appears on the taskbar
