Venue Restriction | Max Concurrency

The "Max Concurrency" restriction helps you do exactly that by limiting the number of simultaneous bookings for a specific option. The "Max Concurrency" rule sets the maximum number of active bookings that can be made for a specific bay option at any one time. Once this limit is reached, no additional bookings will be allowed for that time slot until one of the existing bookings ends or is canceled.

This restriction is used for venues that do not offer memberships. If your venue offer memberships, please refer to Venue Restriction | Max Concurrency for user with perk.

How Max Concurrency Works

If you are unaware of how you create and setup venue restrictions, please refer to this article: How To Create A Venue Restriction

  1. Create the Venue Restriction
    • Navigate to the Venue Restrictions tab.
    • Click "Create New Restriction".
    • Create the flag that links to the restriction.
    • Click "Create"
    • Click "Edit Rule"

    • Choose the restriction "Max concurrency"
    • Set up the count and if usage of flags
    • Adding a flag to multiple bay options links their availability—if one is booked at a specific time, all others with the same flag become unavailable for that time slot.

    • Click "Confirm Changes"
  2. Apply the Restriction to a Bay Option
    • Go to the Bay Options section.
    • Select the bay option you want to restrict.
    • Apply the flag linked to the venue restriction.

    • Click "Save Changes"
  3. Important Reminder
    • Make sure the bay option is linked to a Bay Group.
    • If it’s not, the bay option will not appear to customers during the booking process.
    • For more information of bay groups, refer to this article: Assigning Bay Options to Bay Groups.
