If a facility has multiple bays, you can choose between the following setups:

One Main Wi-Fi Connection

This setup connects each bay’s radar and peripherals directly to the PC via wired connections, while the PC itself connects to the internet through a shared Wi-Fi network. While convenient in some environments, this configuration is not recommended due to performance limitations.

  • Radar, cameras, and other peripherals are wired to the PC.
  • The PC connects to the main router via Wi-Fi.
  • All bays share the same wireless network for internet access.

Multi-bay simulator setup with radar units and smartphones connected to PCs, which in turn connect wirelessly to a central router using a single Wi-Fi network.

Advantages

  • Useful in temporary or mobile setups
  • Can be a fallback when Ethernet cabling is not feasible
  • Simplifies installation in spaces with limited infrastructure

Limitations

  • Slower download speeds for software and course updates
  • Reduced stability in cloud-connected features
  • Higher risk of interruptions during online sessions
  • Not suitable for high-traffic or commercial environments
